Why do we pray?

We pray because prayer keeps us connected to God and alive. Not just for answers, but also for strength, direction, peace, healing, wisdom, and better relationships.
Sometimes people think prayer is only about “asking for things", but many times prayer is simply:
* pouring out your heart,
* resting in God’s presence,
* listening,
* worshipping,
* or surviving difficult seasons without losing yourself.
Even Jesus prayed constantly.
The Bible says:
“Pray without ceasing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17
And also:
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
Prayer helps because life is heavy. People carry silent battles, fears, disappointments, confusion, spiritual attacks, grief, and exhaustion. Prayer becomes a place of exchange where weakness meets God’s strength.
No matter how busy or tired you are, take a minute to talk to your source of energy.
Sometimes the most powerful prayer is, "God, help me. I don’t even have words today.”
And Heaven still hears it. God bless you.
